Tools around a release

Release sheets and music smart links

How team release coordination fits alongside fan-facing smart links and pre-save pages from services such as Feature.fm and Linkfire.

Reviewed October 22, 2026

A campaign team needs an organized view of the work. A listener needs a clear way to find the music. Release sheets and music smart links serve those related needs at different points in a release campaign.

Feature.fm’s link tools include music smart links and pre-save campaigns. They give artists and teams a destination to share with fans around a release.

Linkfire’s music links bring listening options together in a fan-facing destination. Its pre-release link guide describes creating a link ahead of a release. Check each service’s current documentation for setup, supported destinations and plan limits.

What a release sheet does

Rollout organizes the team’s release facts and campaign context: the tracklist, artwork, assets, timeline, press and marketing checklist. A release sheet can include useful URLs, including a smart link created in another service, so teammates can find the approved destination.

A Rollout sharing link presents selected release information to a reader behind a password. It is intended for sharing campaign context. It does not provide the pre-save connection or listener destination features of a specialist smart-link service.

Use them together in a campaign

  1. Create the fan-facing link in the smart-link service your team uses.
  2. Add the URL to the relevant release information in Rollout.
  3. Record the campaign dates and remaining work on the release sheet or in a linked Todoist project.
  4. When the URL or campaign plan changes, update the sheet and review the materials your team is sharing.

This workflow uses a reference URL. Rollout has no native Feature.fm or Linkfire integration, automatic link publishing, listener conversion reporting or background synchronization with those services.
